Who Are We?

Golden Heart Thrift Cooperative (GHTC) was founded by a team in Fairbanks with a shared vision: creating a worker-owned thrift store with an upcycling and repair center. Our goal is to keep valuable materials out of our local landfill while bringing democracy and collective ownership into the workplace.
